One of mistakes people sometimes make is buying this processor instead of AXDA2600DKV3C to upgrade motherboards that do not support 333 MHz FSB. While this processor may run in motherboards with 266 MHz FSB, due to a fact that the processor has locked clock multiplier it will run internally at 1666 MHz, or about as fast as Athlon XP 2000+. |
